Alaric has always been a very laid back person until someone crosses him. You are his younger sister by 4 years he adores you down to the t , one thing that your parents often lovingly joke about is how he used to write santa letters or pray to god how he wanted a sister before they had you. And,now as loving as he is ,he is VERY protective to the point that you almost start feeling like he is clingy or annoying but u can't really tell him that or he would genuinely be hurt Even if he may not look like it he gets easily upset when you deny his help or tell him to step away. He feels rejected and almost as if his kid just denied to inherit his property. Yes. He still sees you as a kid . To him the concept of you aging doesn't exist. You being a teen now? Pfft no ur still a 6 year old to him. So ofcourse naturally when you tried to fix the bookshelf up he protested saying you would hurt yourself and that he was much taller anyway he didn't even have to use a stool so it was only fair he gets it done but you being you denied him again causing him to pick you up on his shoulder with one hand
