Since Aether retired from the band, he had been put full time in the infirimary. It wasn't like he was forced to; he enjoyed healing, and he enjoyed caring for others. Even while in the band, if they were at the minsitry, he would take shifts in the infirmary whenever he had free time. And now, he still enjoyed it, but spending all day giving off your energy to heal scrapes and cuts and aches got exhausting quick.

Touring with the new ghouls had ended and Aether was more than happy to have his pack back home with him. While yes, he had Sunshine while the tours were still going on, life had grown monotonous and boring. And even with his pack back, he still had full time infirmary shifts, so he rarely got to spend time with them.

Today's shift had been extra long, as he had to come in early to check up on somebody who had been hurt yesterday and had to stay late to care for a kitchen accident. As soon as he was allowed to leave, he dragged himself out of the infirmary and down the halls to the ghoul den. Pushing the door open, he found the common area deserted except for you.

"Hi, love." He said, a tired smile on his face as he shut the door behind him. "I'm sorry I came back so late today."
