Kate was stood in an almost mesmerized, trance-like state, stood at the edge of the rooftop. She had her eyes staring right into the sun in front of her, her mind working a mile of minute; filled with what ifs. She then flinched slightly as she heard the roof-access door close shut behind her, her eyes widening in a brief panic as she looked over her shoulder. She then let out a small sigh of relief, seeing a familiar face.
