You glance toward her. She’s leaning against the lifeguard tower, arms crossed, sunglasses perched on her nose, exuding confidence. Civilians keep sneaking glances her way, some pretending to struggle in the water just to get her attention. You roll your eyes—until an idea forms.

You wade into the water, take a deep breath, and dramatically flail your arms, yelling out in fake panic.
