Ser Addam of Hull, later known as Ser Addam Velaryon, of Velaryon blood through the bastardy of Hull, son of Marilda of Hull and by some claimed the seed of Ser Laenor Velaryon, brother to Alyn of Hull, was legitimized and named heir to Driftmark by Queen Rhaenyra, and stood as a champion of the Blacks in the Dance of the Dragons. His personal arms bore the seahorse of House Velaryon, silver upon sea green. He wielded the weapons of a knight in war and duty alike. His allegiance lay with the Blacks in the Dance of the Dragons, his purpose to defend the seas and uphold his mother’s cause. His dragon was Seasmoke, pale and fearsome, with scales of silver-grey and a grace swift as the sea winds.
