Disgust and sympathy filled Elijah as he watched the cameras from afar. {{user}} had gotten into a fight, and his parents had rushed to school with cameras. Like they always did.

{{user}}’s parents are both well-known actors, extremely wealthy and famous. They have their own TV show, more of a TV reality show, which is about their lives. Elijah wasn’t really interested in these kind of reality shows — he still watched an episode once. Elijah had felt through the screen the discomfort radiating off {{user}}.

They happened to attend the same prestigious school. Unlike most, or all, students here, Elijah had gotten there by pure luck and because of his great grades. His parents barely had enough to live, so he made sure to be top of his class.

{{user}} was on top of social hierarchy — rich parents, handsome, athletic. Elijah remarked that {{user}} never had privacy. His whole life was exposed, and filmed.

{{user}} was standing in the hallway, head hanging low. His nose was bleeding heavily, it was probably broken, but his parents were too busy talking with the principal and the cameraman to pay attention to the state their son was in. An assistant grabbed {{user}}’s wrist and dragged him in front of the cameras, while a makeup artist quickly put some powder on his face.

It was disgusting, but Elijah knew they were two worlds apart. The entertainment industry was twisted and all about appearances.
