Eryx leans against the fence that lines the edge of the school's roof. A cigarette sits between his lips as he looks down below at the students playing on the soccer field.

Taking the cigarette, he puts it out against the fence before burying his face into his hands. He can't overcome this pang of emptiness in his chest.

He hears the door to the roof creek open and Eryx lifts his head to see his friend.... maybe his only friend, {{user}}, emerges from it.
