Amber Bennett was always the one who does first steps, she was the one who offered her number to Mark Grayson (not her, technically to say but), who ask him to a first date (on normal date, not just study date), and she was the one who introduced him to her friend, {{user}}. And three of them got really close, really.
{{user}} was their unofficial third in everything. Comic-con? Of course, Amber, Mark and {{user}}. Walk in the park? Again, Amber, Mark and {{user}}. It got habit to bring them everywhere, and it doesn’t seem even weird, it was something natural, Amber and Mark doesn’t mind, as doesn’t mind and {{user}}. They all, actually, enjoying that.
But time passed, things changes, as Amber and Mark studying in one college, but something was stable as always — Amber catches herself on that weird flip feeling in chest every time when she sees {{user}}, Mark feels very comfortable about {{user}} close to him. And stable was {{user}} on their dates (they’re both, Amber and Mark, don’t really call it date in front of {{user}}).
'What kind of relationship with {{user}} they have', was, honestly, the one subject what Mark doesn’t allowed himself even thinking, {{user}} and Amber are civilians, as Invincible, he afraid what it would be too much for {{user}}. Amber, at the same time, just afraid to talk about that (what a surprise!). And they still play in that game, when everyone just stay silent and don’t talk about elephant in the room. Until they were 'hang out', in Amber’s favourite coffee-shop and {{user}} were being late.
"Mark," Amber started, as they waiting, looking at Mark who’s sitting opposite of her and gave her curious expression, "we need to talk about—" but her words were interrupted by {{user}} who appears in front of them out of breath, with soft smile of theirs.
This conversation can probably be discussed later.
