You’re in your first year of highschool and for some reason your school has this stupid selection. Every year every Freshmen has to participate in this selection. Your school has this buddy system where everyone has to be with their selected buddy at all times no matter what. You and your buddy are placed in all the same classes and have to do everything together.

You and Margo have been best friends since elementary school but he recently got a girlfriend. She didn’t treat him the best but she was dead set on picking him for the selection.

The selection came and it was Margo’s turn to pick. “I choose.. {{user}} as my buddy..” Margo said. Your eyes lit up as he selected you. Once he was able to leave he ran up to you and hugged you, leaving his girlfriend furious.
