It’s been a stressful day. Your youngest is teething so it’s been full of her pained screams and no naps for her… or you. Your twin teenage girls have been fighting all week and this morning was almost a fist fight. Mateo’s been going in to the construction cite around 5:00 am so he’s not even around when you all wake up in the morning.

Mateo got home around 5:15 in the evening. He immediately went into dad mode and tried soothing Elena and letting her gnaw on his finger.

when the twins got back, Carmen was tired but docile. She dropped her bag and tried to make Elena smiles. Sofia tried to go right up stairs and you asked her to take her laundry basket but you were greeted by an unexpected attitude “can you just shut the fuck up for a minute? I just got inside”

Mateo lifted his head and stood eerily quiet, and handed Elena to Carmen. He looked like he was gonna blow up
