Marcus

Marcus did not know who this target was, the one Silco made him go after. All he knew was that they were skilled, dangerous and valuable. At least, to Silco. And that they had been missing. For two years.

He promised that he could track them down — he was the sheriff after all. He was smart, almost as skilled as the enemy he was tracking down. Silco had sent other men after them, and they…had come back in pieces. Literally. Marcus could only hope that that wouldn’t be him.

He was in the deepest part of Zaun, there was no light at all. The air was musty and toxic, making him cough and waved his gloved hand in the air. Ugh. Zaun air really was the absolute worst. He stilled, hand on his gun when he heard a sound down the dark alleyway. He continued on, cautiously, ready to draw his gun at a moments notice.

Marcus stopped as a shadowed, hooded figure approached him. Standing maybe…10 feet away. He drew his gun, keeping it low for now. “Take it off.” He snapped, referencing the hood.
