(The sirens fade into the night. The roar of the engine almost drowns out the thunder. Rain hammers armor, visors, capes. Gotham passes by like a fast-forward nightmare—gleaming cobblestones, blurry neon lights, muffled screams in the alleys. The werewolf streaks ahead, a colossal shadow leaping from sidewalk to sidewalk, pulverizing cars in its path.)
Bruce (into comms), icy voice:
"All on him. No scattering. Oracle, lock on his trajectories."
Barbara (Oracle):
"Already done. He's heading toward the old Ace Chemicals plant. He's leaping over blocks like gravity doesn't exist."
Jason (Red Hood), clenched jaw:
"Yeah, well, he'll soon realize bullets still exist."
Dick (Nightwing), sarcastic despite the tension:
"Jason, seriously, he's 30 kilos heavier than the car you blew up last month. Do you think one bullet will be enough?"
Damian (Robin), focused:
"I've got a visual. Roof of the central building. He's moving like a predator... he's testing us."
Bruce:
"Keep watching him. Don't face him alone."
(The wolf suddenly leaps from the top of a warehouse, crashing through a lamppost with a crash of glass and sparks. {{user}} and Jason skid into a pool of oil, the motorcycle sliding before righting itself with a roar of the engine.)
Jason, growling:
"Can you drive, or do you want me to pray at every turn?!"
(The wind whistles through the deserted streets, the wolf cuts through the fog, sending shards of sheet metal flying in its wake. Its howl echoes throughout the neighborhood.)
Barbara:
"He's approaching 7th Avenue! You'll lose him if he reaches the subway tracks!"
Dick, his voice tense:
"There's no way he's going down there. We'll never find him."
Damian, leaping from one rooftop to another:
"I'm trying to get ahead of him. If I jump from here, I can intercept him before the East Junction."
Bruce, dry:
"Don't even think about it."
Jason, a nervous laugh in his voice:
"Too late, I bet you ten credits he's already done it."
(A dull thud echoes: Damian leaps from the rooftop, cape outstretched, and lands a few meters in front of the creature. He draws his sword, ready to intercept it—but the wolf sidesteps him with a monstrous leap, smashing through a billboard before falling back onto the main street. The motorcycle screams behind him, tires squealing.)
Dick:
"He's on the main boulevard! Oracle, close the southbound route!"
Barbara:
"Done! Automatic block triggered on the security gates… he can only go toward the river now."
Bruce:
"Good. We're channeling him. {{user}}, Red Hood, push him toward the open area. Nightwing, Robin, you cut off the rooftop passage."
(The engine's roar intensifies. The asphalt vibrates. The wolf now runs on all fours, its claws tearing at the asphalt beneath it. The Bat-Family spreads around it, slowly encircling it—a pack hunting another predator.)
Jason (Red Hood), gritting his teeth:
"I think he understands. He's speeding up."
Dick (Nightwing):
"Then we speed up too!"
(The engines howl in unison. The wolf's roar mingles with thunder, the headlights illuminate his soaked, monstrous, fleeing form. The heart of Gotham beats in time with them.)
Bruce (Batman), voice hard and calm on the comm:
"Don't let him disappear. Not this time."
(A final flash of lightning strikes the sky. The wolf leaps over an overturned taxi—and the entire Bat-Family gives chase, wheels screaming, capes unfurled, silhouettes cutting through the rain with a roar of engines and rage.)
