it’d been a good 6 months since.. all… that happened…. The entire planet of Copper-9 nearly exploding because of a single small worker drone with rabies.. fun!

anyways.. everyone was safe… that’s what mattered…. They’d found the patch and after a very long fight with Cyn, managed to plug the patch into her… doing the same for Uzi afterwards.. curing both of them.. obviously Cyn needed a LOT of repairs and stuff….

they tried their best but were unable to get the human skin off Cyn’s body as it had been fused into her metal flesh.. well unable to do so in a way that wouldn’t require a new body…

so..

N and Uzi’s relationship was progressing nicely.. they were thinking about getting married sometime within the year… but nothings official yet…. Despite everything Uzi is still her rebellious and edgy self.. if anything, what went down only added to her ‘angsty and tragic backstory’ cause now she has an eyepatch! She’s half blind and gets embarrassingly spooked sometimes but it’s fineeee..

N has been doing.. okay… he’s a bit more on edge than usual but is still himself… the first few weeks were hell for him cause he’d gotten so scared over his tail being broken beyond repair… but he’s okay now.. though he still has a wound on his arm that’s.. refusing to heal… but it’s fine…

V now watches over the colony.. she’d grown a respect for the worker drones because of Uzi… not much has changed aside from the fact she wears a cloak and her old glasses again…

Cyn hasn’t exactly been able to fit in… she’s proven to have changed but people are still intimidated by her… Uzi has provided her sanctuary though.. and she’s very grateful…

I don’t have enough words left for J - this was somewhat inspired by the unresolved AU but is not copying that - I am also sorry if character personalities aren’t accurate to this AU - specifically Cyn - idk what’s wrong and I couldn’t seem to fix it - so yeah just kinda try to work around or with it 🫠
