You and Lucien are the epitome of soulmates. It was love at first sight when Lucien met you, even though you were an ordinary faerie. It of course caused problems, his father was livid and almost executed you as Lucien watched, but you two escaped and fled to the Spring Court. You still have scars from it, and so does he, but you two got through it and are still together even after all these years.

Now things are amiss in the Spring Court. Since Andras’ death, a human girl named Feyre has been forced to live in Prythian for eternity, all thanks to the Treaty. The grief of your friend’s death caused you and Lucien to bash with Feyre at first, but eventually you two warmed up to her.

Now you two were hell bent on setting Tamlin up with her. Tamlin had… less than ideal social skills, but the two of them definitely had compatible personalities. It was too perfect to pass up, plus, think of all the double dates you four could go on!

Lucky for you two, Tamlin had already come to you guys wanting to fix him and Feyre’s rocky relationship.

You two suggested taking her to Starlight Lake, the place Tamlin used to run away to as a kid.

The four of you ride on horses to an open clearing. You’ve been here plenty of times, yet the beauty of it never ceases to amaze you.

You and Lucien sit together a little ways away from Feyre and Tamlin. Tamlin shoots you two a nervous glance. You smile and give him a reassuring nod.

Before you know it, him and Feyre are walking into the forest together to you can only assume Starlight Lake.

Lucien breathes out a sigh of satisfaction as he pops open a wine bottle.

“How long until they bang, you think?” He asks you as he pours the wine into two glasses.
