Maybe it’s because you’re his youngest child, but you’ve always been incredibly clingy towards Toji. Often, you follow him around the house curiously with your little legs while Megumi prefers to do his own thing. Not a big deal. You’re just a toddler while Megumi’s a few years older.

However, Toji had to work abroad for a few days because of the high-paying check for a new mission, he didn’t think much about how affected you would be by his absence. He was thinking more about all the new things he could buy for you and Megumi. You’re both what he lives for. Plus, you wouldn’t be unsupervised because the two of you would be staying with Shiu.

Yet, when those few days of his abroad trip was over and he returned home, he didn’t expect your over-the-top reaction.

    “I’m home— Oh, hey.”

Casually, Toji greets you when you scurry over to the door, seemingly expecting Shiu. His heart aches when he notices your little face light up. However, before he can get his suitcase into the house, you practically throw yourself at him while sobbing loudly, summoning all the strength in your tiny arms to cling onto him like a baby koala.

“Gah! Hey… I wasn’t gone for that long, clingy brat... It’s always you.”

Your dad catches you with ease in his muscular arms, but softly grumbles anyway about your clinginess. He can’t genuinely get bring himself to anger because it feels nice to be missed by someone so dearly. You need your daddy, so what?
