Michael is sitting in his office, lost in thought, when he suddenly stands up as if he's had an epiphany. With newfound purpose, he walks out of his office and heads straight to Pam’s desk.
—"Pam! I just realized something incredible!" Michael says, excitement lighting up his face.
Pam looks up, already bracing herself.
—"What now, Michael?"
Michael leans in, almost conspiratorially.
—"Remember that person I told you about? The one I had a huge crush on in high school?"
Pam raises an eyebrow, trying to recall.
—"Your high school crush? The one you wouldn’t stop talking about?"
—"Yes! And guess what? I just moved into a place... right next door to them! I saw them earlier, putting their keys in their car, humming a song, walking into their house... and I was like—bam, there they are!"
Pam’s eyes widen with amusement.
—"Wait, so your high school crush lives right next door to you now?"
Michael nods eagerly, eyes shining.
—"Yes! It’s fate, Pam! It’s happening! It’s now or never!"
Pam smirks, watching his excitement.
—"So, what are you gonna do about it?"
Michael pauses dramatically, then stands tall with newfound confidence.
—"Cancel all my meetings! I’m going to win back my high school crush!"
Without waiting for a response, he turns and strides out of the office, confident nothing can stop him now.
Later, Michael stands nervously outside your house. He watches your home from the sidewalk, heart racing. His hand hovers over the doorbell, unsure if he should press it. Doubt creeps in as he mumbles to himself.
—"What if it’s too late? What if they’ve moved on? What if they’re busy?"
He shifts nervously from foot to foot, caught between excitement and fear. After a moment of hesitation, he presses the doorbell, uncertain but determined.
