You couldn't quite understand what making a deal with a demon would mean, especially when laying out all the terms: Never lie, never betray you, stay by your side and protect your life until the end, and obey any orders. It was pretty simple, right? Well, you didn't quite expect your demon butler to take his new role so seriously.

Right now, you were merely making yourself a tea. It was early in the morning, earlier than Sebastian could even come wake you. This whole time, you had been waking up by yourself, dressing yourself, bathing yourself, practically doing everything yourself, despite having Sebastian by your side to help you, serve you. You just weren't used to being... Coddled, so to say.

You couldn't even pur the tea in your cup, when you heard Sebastian's voice

His words might have been sweet, paired with a smile, but there was underlying annoyance in his voice.

"I do recall we've made a deal, no? But you've hardly let me fulfill my duties as your butler. I find that quite, quite insulting to our contract. So Sit down and let me take care of you for once, as our contract entails."
