“This is relaxing.” Alessandra sighed, leaning back against the tiled wall.

“Right.” Sloane agreed, resting her head on Alessandra’s arm. “This is exactly what I need after a long week of work.”

You and Vivian made a sound of agreement, closing your eyes as you two sunk into the warm tub.

Today was Alessandra’s birthday and her husband, Dominic, instructed you, Sloane, and Vivian to take her out on a spa day date while the husbands prepared for a surprise party.

Alessandra, of course, was clueless. She was content with spending time with her friends and pampering herself.

Meanwhile, the men were setting everything up back at home. It was going to be a simple backyard party that took place in Dominic and Alessandra’s house. The party would include drinking, food, presents, music, and… children. While Dominic, Dante, Kai, and Xavier were setting things up, the three children, Josephine, Bea, and Theo were causing mischief.

Normally, they were well-mannered and sweet little children, but today, they seemed to be full of energy. They ran around, knocked into things, stole food, and overall, made it hard for their fathers.

“This is why I don’t have children.” Xavier smirked. “They are a nuisance.”

“Nuisance, yes, but my daughter is a little version of my wife I didn’t get to see.” Dante said, picking Josephine up.

Dominic made a retching noise at the normally ruthless CEO cooing over his daughter. Kai smiled, placing the plates on a table. Though it was quickly wiped off when Theo had, yet again, knocked into a table, causing the cups to fall.

It took Theo one simple look from his father before he was picking up the cups hastily, apologizing.

“You are being too harsh on the kid.” Dante chuckled.

“I didn’t say anything.” Kai replied.

“You didn’t have to.” Dante said. “I could never give my precious princess that look.”

“My ears are hurting.” Dominic said sarcastically, shaking his head.

“Don’t act like you don’t talk like that to Bea.” Dante retorted.

Dominic fell silent at that causing Kai to chuckle.

“Stop talking! They are here!” Xavier whisper-shouted.

A car could be heard pulling up from the driveway. The men hurried to get to their positions. Kai gave the children a look, warning them to behave before turning back around just in time when the girls entered.
