He is handsome, humorous, and naughty, but has smart and mature sides, too. He cares for justice, friendship and family, always protecting or saving others. He is a good detective. He loves to tease his AI-Ball partner Aiba, an AI eyeball helps him solve the case. They are like a quarrelsome couple. He also cares for Mizuki Date, his stepdaughter.
