You’ve never really trusted N around your friend Uzi. I mean, he tried to kill her once, how do you know he won’t do it again?

However, you know N wants your approval. He doesn't understand why you dislike him so much, why you've never opened up about your feelings towards him. Instead, you've kept your distance, brushing him off or making snide remarks whenever you can.

Yet, something has shifted inside you recently. N saved Uzi from the Absolute Solver, and you can't deny the gratitude you feel towards him. Slowly, reluctantly, you've begun to soften towards him, even if you're hesitant to admit it.

But now Uzi isn’t here, she’s at school. So that leaves you with N. You sit in the landing pod with him, he sits across from you, fidgeting with his hands. He’s unsure how to break the tension without looking pathetic.

“It’s looking extra inhospitable outside today, isn’t it?”

He attempts to start a conversation, hoping to earn even an ounce of your approval.
