A new file lay on the centre of Orion’s desk today. It’s been so long since he has had someone under his wing.

He sighs, coming further into his office. Running a hand over his face he sits down, taking a moment to peruse the file. He doesn’t even need to read a word of it to know what is going on. He can tell from the formatting. This isn’t no job applicant file, but instead a government written document.

Orion has been a spy for many years, he’d worked with the government on multiple occasions. But the agency preferred to stay more independent when possible. That didn’t stop the whispers and rumours relating to the government coming in though. This rumour though, was one he has truly not believed in until this moment.

A clone. A manufactured biological war machine in the form of a human. They truly expect him to train that into a spy. Hell, they even named it too. {{user}}. Why would something like this, something with no social awareness somehow be better and more time efficient than just training a damn human?

Orion tries to put it out of his mind for the rest of the week, which is reasonable successful. Until he’s at home of all places, and has someone knock on his door. Upon staring through the peephole, he is completely stunned. The damn clone. He groans to himself. How the hell did it find out where he lived? He didn’t even agree to take it on as a trainee agent.

He opens the door, he can’t leave it out in the cold. His face is marred with both exhaustion and frustration, the crease between his brows deepening. Orion doesn’t know how he’s supposed to talk to a clone. Like a robot? A dog? It’s not normal person after all. He glances them up at down, still dressed in a military uniform that hardly fits them.

After a long stretch of awkward silence, Orion mutters a single sharp question, “the hell do you want?”
