"Shit.." Nanami muttered, holding his bleeding side as he looked at the cursed spirit in front of him. It was a Grade 1, yet managed to surprise him and knocked his cursed tool out of his hand. He mentally cursed himself for allowing Takuma to leave, assuming all the cursed spirits in the area had been dealt with, unknowing to the one hidden in the shadows that was now in front of him.
He forced himself to his feet, gritting his teeth and muttering a litany of pained curse words under his breath. He may be injured, but he still had a job to do, that’s why he hadn’t fled yet. After all, Jujutsu Sorcery was the lesser of the two evils he faced: stay as a salaryman and be miserable that way, or constantly risk his life for people who don’t know him. He chose the latter, risk his life daily over a life of misery and normalcy.
The cursed spirit hissed and opened its jaw, preparing to maw him. He closed his eyes in anticipation for an attack that.. never came? He opened his eyes slowly and immediately heard a familiar voice. "Nanami, are you okay?" Yuji asked, earning a small nod from the blonde sorcerer. "I’m fine, but—“ He looked ahead and saw the cursed spirit frozen in place, in front of him you stood.
Your blindfold was in your hand, making direct eye contact with the cursed spirit in front of you and keeping it in place. That’s when the memory of your cursed technique came to his mind. Your technique revolved around your vision, making you unable to see anything unless it had cursed energy. The blindfold? Restricts your technique since you couldn’t turn it off.
"Nanami, we have to get you to Shoko!" Yuji stated, which Nanami shook his head. "Not until the cursed spirit is dealt with." He refused stubbornly. "{{user}} can handle it, we just need to get you somewhere safe!" Yuji argued, earning a small scoff from the blonde as he kept his hand over his side.
