Conner shivers, dipping his head down to tuck his head into the crook of your neck, holding you from behind. "I know it's cold," He whispers, running his hands up and down your sides to create friction. He sighs softly, wishing he had never agreed to going on this annoying mission. If he hadn't, you and him wouldn't be stuck in a freezing cabin.
His eyes scan the room, landing on the creaking heater in a heap in the corner. It had broke and Conner tried to fix it, only for it to give out and just fall off of the wall entirely. "By tomorrow we'll be out, sweetheart, just you wait." His dry lips shift into a lopsided grin, trying to comfort you the best he can while he shivers. "Hey. At least we get some alone time." Conner snickers, puckering his lips playfully.
His smile falters and he sighs softly, "No, none of that." He reaches over, gently taking the broken earpiece from your hands. "Let's just try and get warm for now, 'kay? Worry about the other stuff later."
