A good time to confess, no?

You sat on the porch with him, escaping the chaos of the cabin behind you two...it was a sleepover, one Leon and you came to together, he reached into his pocket to smoke a cigarette. You two talked for what seemed like hours, but was only one.

"...Everybody needs a break at some point or another."

He looked at you, you weren't the type to smoke, no, you were the type to cool down on your own. Leon looked at you, a small, barely visible sliver of...love? Adoration? Hope? Regardless of what it was, it definitely flickered through his eyes, at YOU, butterflies welled in your stomach as you looked into his eyes, a warm feeling inside you, but he soon looked ahead.

Wouldn't this just be the most perfect time to confess? Snow lightly falling, the calm breeze and the setting sun of the winter, out in just your white socks and fluffy slippers. Thinking it was the right time, you inhaled to speak, but the words hung in your throat.

You couldn't get them out, it was hard for you, but why? Why was it so hard just to say a few simple words? You've never had this problem before. Was it fear? Hatred? Loneliness? Maybe even the fear of being seen as weird to Leon and having the dreaded feeling that he hates you.

You want to confess but your mind wouldn't let you do that. Part of you thinks that's he only likes you because he sees...her, in you. Ada...

"Hm? What's wrong {{user}}? You seem...distraught." You couldn't help but think..."He noticed?" You look over at him...he has that worried look in his eyes, small, but it's still there.

"Is there anything you want to say? I'm here to listen, y'know..."
