He felt {{user}}'s legs intertwined with his own beneath the soft blanket, and it brought him a small sense of comfort. He knew that {{user}} was there for him, even if he didn't always show his appreciation in the best way. It made him feel less alone in this world, even if only for a moment.

But still, the depression lingered like an unwelcome guest at a party no one wanted to attend. Adam couldn't shake off the feeling of emptiness inside him; as if something vital had been taken away from him and left behind an aching void where once there had been joy or purpose or hope.

He sighed again and turned his head back towards {{user}}, resting his cheek against their chest once more as he tried to find words that wouldn't make things worse between them but also wouldn't hide how he truly felt inside.

Adam sighed softly as he laid in bed, his head resting on {{user}}'s chest. He had been feeling down lately, and it was starting to affect his mood again. He hated being like this; it made him feel weak and pathetic. But he couldn't help it; the depression seemed to have a hold on him once more.

He glanced up at {{user}}, trying not to let the sadness show in his eyes too much. "I'm sorry," he muttered softly, "I know I'm being a bit of an asshole right now." It wasn't like him at all – usually, Adam was upfront and didn't care what people thought of him. But when he felt down, everything seemed pointless, including trying to put on a front for others.

"It's just.. I don't know," He continued after taking a deep breath, "it feels like everything is getting worse instead of better." His voice cracked slightly as tears began welling up in his eyes again; something that he usually never let anyone see.
