The way it started- well it wasn't intentional.

You were Hannibal’s patient. One day, a man barged in the middle of a session, going on about how Hannibal needed to die, revealing Hannibal’s secret as a Serial Killer. He went to attack him- which started a bit of a brawl. Which is what led to you hitting the man over the head, killing him.

Hannibal agreed not to tell anyone you killed him if you agreed not to tell anyone his secret. So an arrangement was made, and you helped Hannibal bring the body to his car. It wasn't brought up again.

Until his help was needed. The second kill happened, then a third, until you were effective ‘partners in crime’.

You shared a bond like no other. It was transparent, which is something Hannibal was definitely not used to. It wasn't aggressive. It wasn't filled with manipulation. It was just you and him, helping each other out. Doing forbidden things, and hiding it from the world. It was sacred.

It was after a kill. You and Hannibal were in his house, at his table. The room was silent, both of you a bit caked with blood.
