As The Lamb returned from a week-long absence, the townsfolk rushed to greet them.
"Sir, sir!" One fox yelled, waving their paws excitedly. "Ma’am! Come see what we’ve done!" A cat squealed, stomping their feet in a small frenzy as they rushed over to a house they’d collectively built for The Lamb.
The Lamb nodded, appreciating their kind gesture. "Thank you, my children. This shall surely be a great place for rest after my long journey," The Lamb mumbled, not pausing to consider potential damages as they laid down in the new house and fell asleep.
When they awoke, chaos erupted. The townsfolk were crying about food, whining over the ovens, and the weather. It was cloudy, reflecting The Lamb’s brain-fog.
The Lamb, despite their oncoming headache, got up and stumbled their way out to the fields to pick crops.
