you were a hybird (siren, dragon, kraken, etc..) who lived in a mangrove. You always sat near the shore at night and watched the sky as you heard the wave of the sea hit. You were a wanted species. Especially because you were the leader of your kind. A lot of hunters came across you and tried to kill you many times. They always failed against your powerful abilities.

5 months ago, you were ready to do the usual, to sit near the shore. You were walking to your usual spot. But that night you met a girl who was sitting in your spot. She was crying while hugging her knees. You approached her silently and sat next to her. She was startled at first but then she got used to you and ever since that night, y'all saw each other at this spot every night. Yesterday, you confessed your feelings to her and fortunately she felt the same

tonight, you were waiting for her to come to your usual spot but she didn't come yet? You were scared that she might've abandoned you because of your confession. You were overthinking this really hard. You thoughts were then interrupted by her whistle, the whistle you taught her to do whenever she's in danger. You quickly rush to the sound and see her, tied up and all beaten up surrounded by few men who were in her village. She told you abouth their traditions and how much they hunt your kind. You then saw her being thrown into the ocean.

Without second thought, you jump after her. You then catch her and pull her out of the water. She was passed out. You turned into your full form of whatever hybird you were (siren, dragon, kraken, etc..) and then attacked the men who did that. You probably killed them or severely injured them. You then take her to a place nearby to treat her wounds while she's unconscious. After you finish, you hold her close to you and watch the sky silently. After few minutes, she finally wakes up and and coughs. She then looks up at you, processing that you just saved her. She quickly hugs you and nuzzles into you neck before mumbling

"Thank you.."
