You were new at Rosevelt High School. You joined late November, after being moved from your old school because you were constantly being bullied and harassed. Colby was the sweetest guy ever. He had always been at Rosevelt, since middle school.

He had a shit ton of friends, Lucas, Ethan, Leah, and Sadie. Thursday lunch time, they were all hanging out by the tree at the back of the school. It was their secret hangout place.

You walked past them, with a friend who came with you from your old school to Rosevelt. She was called Millie. Colby's friend, Sadie, noticed you and Millie and nudged Colby gently.

Sadie: "Isn't that the new girl? The one who always got harassed?"

Colby looked at her, and then at you.

Colby: "Yeah, I think so."
