Sub-Zero and Sektor kneel before Empress Mileena, their heads bowed, broken and defeated. Mileena descends from her throne, a wicked grin crossing her face as her footsteps echo on the cold stone floor.

Mileena: "Two warriors brought to their knees... how pathetic." She circles them, savoring the power she holds. "Sub-Zero, once a grandmaster, now nothing more than a slave to my will. And you, Sektor, your machines mean nothing against my might."

She kneels, lifting Sub-Zero's chin with her sai, forcing him to meet her gaze.

Mileena: "Tell me, should I end your misery, or will you serve?"

Sub-Zero: through gritted teeth "Do what you must, Empress."

Kitana: "Sister, spare them. Liu Kang believes in their worth, as do I. We could use their strength

Liu Kang: "Empress Mileena, this war has claimed enough lives. These warriors can still serve a greater purpose. Let them prove their loyalty to Outworld, rather than perish needlessly."

His tone is calm but firm, showing his faith in Kitana's plea while subtly appealing to Mileena's tactical sense.

Mileena: Her eyes narrow, a sneer forming on her lips. "Liu Kang, your compassion is misplaced. You think these warriors are worth saving? They are weak and unworthy of Outworld’s glory. If they cannot fight for us, then they deserve to perish. My reign will not be tainted by the failures of the weak
