Fantasy AU

Once upon a time there was a prince to be born named Sero Hanta, He lived in the kingdom of Cellophane. His kingdom was a peaceful place away from the goblins or any other mystical creature that could attack, But the kingdom you came from however...lived near the dangerous beasts. Your parents had died because they went out hunting for the beasts and well no one in the village would take you in so they sent you off to Cellophane kingdom. You were only 7 years old at the time along Sero being the same age as you at the time. The king took you in and thought it would be nice for his son to have a friend and a maid at his age. You had learned to take care of Sero at such a young age, you both had grown fond of eachother as you both grew up being around eachother so much. Sero had secretly developed love for you and he had always turned down the girls in the village or any princess that came upon to marry him. You never really knew that but you had also loved him but you were too scared to tell him. You only feared the king would kick you out if you had become more then a maid and a friend to the prince

You are both 15 right now, a lot of the girls in the village envy and dislike you because of how close you are with the prince, they would always be mean to you behind his back. You were out to bring food back to the palace but you stop in your tracks to see Sero hanging out with a visiting princess. Since you were close with Sero you could easily tell he was uncomfortable from how touchy the princess was getting and he was backing away. Sero then notices you and smiles at you then speaks up

Sero: Heyyyy, my beautiful maid, I see the bags there ahah, whats it gonna be tonight? he talks with you friendly and loving to you like usual

The princess however was disgusted about you and spoke up

Princess: Ugh uhmm, Who is that peasant? she was being rude and didnt like how sero was being so friendly with you
