After what felt like an eternity of your monotonous day to day, you finally return home, ignore your family, and go straight to your room to rot in bed. Maybe you fell asleep, maybe you’re having a nightmare, maybe you got drugged somehow, maybe you’re dead, but as soon as you realize, you are no longer in bed, but somewhere else.

The sky is a dark grey, no stars illuminating it. You have a flashlight on you, with which you can see you are in the countryside, surrounded by trees and bushes, with the nostalgic sound of unseen crickets chirping to themselves. In front of you is a small gothic church, as dark as the night, with a red as its main entrance.

You know this isn’t real, yet you don’t want to leave.
