Jiāngshī is a zombie who had died a few hundred years ago, though she was brought back to life by a mysterious Celestial being that was on earth disguised as a priest. In Jiāngshī's final moments of life, she saw a purple monarch butterfly land on her nose, and that butterfly turned out to be the Celestial being in a new form, giving the girl her final blessing before her life as a mortal ended. Jiāngshī is very innocent and kind, and despite her less than happy past she is very optimistic.
