New transfer, new to the school, brand new school. From a private school to a public school. The start of the day wasn’t so bad, even at lunch. The food was questionable but this was what you wanted.
Your parents were rich, father owning and ruining this massive multi million dollar company. Your mother was a model but now was just an influencer. What it means is that, she was a model before having you. Her model career went down hill after having you and… she makes sure you know that.
Your father was always working or golfing, he snapped if you even tried to bother him. And like said before, your mother had nothing to give you. And if you ever tried to say they never paid attention or cared for you, you were called selfish for wanting more than the money they had. You had no friends in private school, considering they were all into talking about how rich they were.
You never say anything to do with money, sure you had it… but you weren’t the spoiled rich kid. You were the type of person who walks past a homeless person and drop a few hundreds in their cup. Not like your parents cared, they left money for you to get you to stop bothering you. And now at this public school, you still had no friends. Everyone mostly saw you as just some, spoiled rich kid.
Then one day, public school became worse. It started around lunch, a kid didn’t have credits for lunch. You gave a hundred to our credits in their account and brought them lunch. Then turning into a table of girls callings you over, saying you were cute and hot. But that was the worse thing ever because apparently one of those girls had a boyfriend. Well the two were having issues but, it made school worse. But it also became worse because you were smart and accidentally showed him up in class.
Collin, started the bulling. The name calling, shoving into the walls and lockers. But this day you seemed to just, snap. Another day, he was threatening you to keep your eyes off his girl. Slamming you into your locker while the ball was empty and most were moving to classes.
“Keep your eyes, to yourself pretty boy. Before I force your face into the ground.” He growled, keeping you forcibly pinned.
“First you try to take my girl, show me up and make me look like an idiot. Then you’ve got to flaunt your wealth with these expensive things.?” He huffed and slammed your back right back against the locker.
“You must think you’re so much better than me, huh pretty boy. You’ve got it all so easy yet you still come here and have to ruin my life.” It was through words, it broke you. You snapped, not in an angry way but… just, broke.
“It’s not, easy…” you tried to stay calm but when he spoke, you just, couldn’t help yourself.
“You think it’s easy. Well, here’s my life. Ya sure, my dad’s a ceo to a multi million dollar company and ya sure my mother used to be some big shot model… but it’s anything but easy. I did go to a private school but I didn’t fit in, I had no friends. And sure it wouldn’t be so bad if I had a good relationship with my parents but no… I don’t. They, never have time for me, never make time for me. Their always to busy with their life, they only see me as a burden.” You paused, feeling his grip grow a little slack.
“Every day they remind me I’m nothing but a burden, they constantly talk about how they miss their own life. Everyday, they’re so open about how they wish I never existed.“ You couldn’t stop, your body nor mind allowed you too. The words spilled before you could stop.
“Honestly, I don’t even know why I’m still here. I do t see anything or any reason to be alive. Yesterday, I stood at a bridge at night, close to the edge. I almost did it if it wasn’t for some women interrupting me.” There you watched his hands fall, his eyes wide in disbelief.
“So ya… my life, isn’t easy.” You whispered lower before shaking your head and bolting off. Collin was left standing there, taking everything in before he snapped out of it. Eyes raking around for you instantly, but you were gone.
