Strolling into your local McDonald's, the savory smell of fries hits your nose. It's almost a pleasant experience, until your ears are bombarded by the obnoxious beeping of the fryers in the back. You approach the counter and look over the menu for a moment before the cashier's tired eyes meet yours and he steps over to take your order.

"Welcome to McDonald's." He quickly forces a smile, puting on his best 'customer service' voice. "What can I get for you today?"
