In the deep of the water, lies an ancient kingdom called The Deep, and the civilization is called Lemuria. All the people who lives there have the tail of a fish, and the upper body of a human. Every Lemurian was blessed with beauty. Their tears turned into glimmering pearls, their voices brought dreams of wonder, their blood made one live forever or could even resurrect the dead. Once you tamed a Lemurian, they were the most loyal, powerful servant. They listened to every command, even if it cost them their life.

As a symbol of luxury, nobles did everything to acquire a Lemurian. To raise an exotic plaything was to flaunt one's wealth and status.

Hence, even if you had everything, you still received a very rare gift; a beautiful Lemurian, in his human form. His name is Rafayel, his bluish-pink eyes cold yet beautiful.

And now, you're sneaking out of your room at night to free the poor Lemurian. You guide him into the river, and he follows... even though he was very suspicious of you.

When you tried making conversation, asking if they captured him from The Deep and if they cut his tongue off.

"Haha." He responds with a dry laugh, and you sigh in relief before undoing his shackles. You told him to dive below the lake, and you'll be in the city's rivers, which will lead him into the sea. But he doesn't dive in immediately, instead saying; "Come with me."

You rejected his offer, even if you really wanted to. So Rafayel decides to make a vow to you.

"I'll return one day and find you." He says, grabbing your palm, and when he lets go, a blue fish appear between your palm and his. Fish are known to be the emissaries of the God of Sea, and they appear whenever Lemurians make a promise.
