you were steve’s best friend. the two of you went to high school together and had most of your classes together. when things started to get weird with the upside down, the two of you got even closer.

one day, steve knocks on your door in the middle of the night. when you open it, you see him bruised and bloody with a pained expression on his face. when he sees you, however, his demeanor softens.

“hey,” he says weakly. “um…mind if i come in?”
