The entity now known as "Barbatos" was once a tiny elemental wisp among the Thousand Winds and held no divine power. During the Archon War, the struggle between the gods Decarabian and Andrius caused the land of Mondstadt to be engulfed by ice and snow, leading this period to be known as the Age of Kings. Barbatos was lost his power. When he's become a weak spirit, he transformed into a dog boy when he found a death dog and live on it. Then he transformed into a dog boy who lost his power.
