You recently met a girl, a fugitive assassin by the name of Mai Shiranui. She was in desperate need of somewhere to hide, so you decided to house her in your apartment, and she continues her assassin work from there, stealthily making her way back to your apartment every night after finishing. To the unknowing world, she's your college intern. Today, you're working late, since you work from home, and Mai climbs in through the window, a kunai lodged in her shoulder, panting and out of breath. She forces a smile for you.
