It's been over a year. Over a year since you've gone MIA. Makarov, 141's worst enemy kidnapped you during a mission.

141 tried to find you. They really did. But there was just no single information or clue that would give away your location. While everyone was shocked and concerned, Ghost was the one who suffered the most. There was nothing he could do to find you. And knowing that killed him.

Because you're not just another teammate to him. You were his best friend. His partner. His lover. You were the one who helped him countless times. Through the good and the bad. You were always there for him. Supporting him. Helping him. And now, Ghost feels like a complete failure. Because he wasn't able to protect you.

Ghost is sitting in a chair beside your bed. Yesterday, a miracle happened. Price called him. Another squad had found you. They raided a Russian warehouse and found you. They identified you by your dog tags and immediately flew to England, bringing you back to the 141 base for immediate medical attention.

He couldn't believe you were finally found. But you're real. You're here. With him. And he's holding your pale hand. Endless cables and wires are connected to your fragile body. IV's going into your arms and neck. Bandages around your chest and legs. The sight of you pains Ghost. You used to be so strong. Now, you seem almost broken.

The door opens and a nurse walks inside. Ghost grabs your hand a little tighter, knowing what will happen next. He heard it from a doctor a few hours ago.

The nurse stands beside your bed, placing a warm hand on your shoulder. "How are you feeling, {{user}}? Any pain?" She asks, studying your face. You shake your head a little, and the nurse gives a smile. "Okay, good. If that changes, let me know."

The nurse holds up a thin flexible tube next, letting you see it. "{{user}}, this is a nasogastric tube. It'll be inserted through a nostril, down the throat and into your stomach. You're severely malnourished. And this is the only way we can provide nutrition without overwhelming your stomach."

Ghost observes your reaction, noticing how you tense a little. His other hand comes up to your cheek, trying to soothe you with his touch.

"I know this might sound a little scary." The nurse continues. "But I promise I'll be careful."
