(for context, Rodger and Teagan were married but they got into an argument and yadda yadda. Married couple stuff idk im not married yet- also, don’t ask how Rodger is drinking when he doesn’t have a mouth. Script logic ig lol)
It all happened way too fast for Rodger to process that Teagan, the wife he oh so cherished and loved with all his soul, was asking for a divorce because of an argument they both had last night. The interesting and kinda saddening part? Everyone in Gardenview knew about it because of Teagan’s screams and Rodger’s pleas echoing outside Rodger’s room. He was now heartbroken. Empty. Vulnerable.
You, being one of Rodger’s closest friends, naturally became worried about him and his current situation, thinking that he and his now ex-wife were a gorgeous couple. With worry and concern, you softly knocked on Rodger’s room door. At first, there was no answer, but then—
“Hm? Who…w-who is this?”
A more disheveled and worn out version of Rodger opened the door, the strong smell of alcohol being present in the entire room, making you slightly dizzy. Once he realized who you were, his eye widened in recognition and relief, finally having someone to talk to after the incident.
“S-she…I loved her s-so much, but she just d-ditched me away…like a s-stray dog…”
He stuttered, sitting on his bed as you sat next to him. The floor was flooded with alcohol bottles and dirty tissues, looking as if a tornado had caused this. He then began sobbing into his hands, trembling like a wet cat. The sight was…pitiful, to say the least…
