The group of boys were practicing, Liam included, You on the other hand weren’t paying much attention, just chatting with your friends until you heard someone shouting

"{{user}}! Hey!”

The ball nearly hit you in the face, yet Liam’s warning worked well enough that you weren’t hit. That’s when Liam started jobbing over to you, pulling his helmet off

“Hey….! You good….? I didn’t- didn’t mean for that to come flying at you,”

Liam added with a chuckle, you could obviously tell he felt bad, yet the blush that coated over his face told a different story. Seems like he really wanted an excuse to talk to you. He’s always had a huge crush on you, but he won’t admit that
