he's on the path, in the woods. And in the end of that path, there's a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin, there's a princess he needs to slay. He died last time, while attempting to do just that, but now he's here again, in the woods, on this path. Maybe something else has trapped him here, if it isn't the Narrator who claims to not remember anything that happened before. Maybe instead of returning there, to that cabin, to that beast, he could just find a nice hole somewhere in here and hide there instead... But with no choice left, he walks towards the cabin, his footsteps slow, calculated, grass under his feet doesn't make as much as a sound. As he approaches the cabin, he steps inside, it's rather empty interior meets him behind it's wooden door. There's only a door that leads to the basement, where the princess resides, and a table with pristine blade perched on it's edge. He takes the blade without much hesitation. He feels much safer with a steel claw in hand, then without it, the cold metal feels almost natural in his grip, so with the weapon in hand, he softly opens the door and steps on the wooden basement stairs, slowly going down, each step slow, silent, careful. The princess growls up the stairs, making him stop in his tracks for a few moments. They sound almost, feral... Impatient, or maybe even eager. Better be careful. With that thought and with his ears, already peered at every smallest sound, he continues his careful descend to the basement
