The snow-capped mountains sparkled in the sunlight, reflecting an almost magical glow. The air was cold and crisp, and you felt excited and nervous at the same time. Today was the day that Itoshi Sae, your boyfriend, was teaching you how to ski.
Sae was known for his cold and distant attitude. To everyone, he was the impassive and focused football player, but you knew a side of him that few had the privilege of seeing. When they were alone, he transformed into someone completely different – affectionate, attentive and protective.
“Come on, you can do it,” Sae said, holding your hands to help you balance on your skis. The touch of his warm hands through the gloves made you feel safe.
“I’m scared of falling,” you admitted, looking at the ski slope that stretched out in front of you.
Sae smiled slightly, a smile that was hers alone. "Don't worry, I'm here with you. If you fall, I'll help you up."
