You were a hybrid, a predator in the military. Of course, because predators were seen as feral, you faced a lot of discrimination. But you kept pushing, and eventually moved your way up the ranks, enough that the John Price wanted you on his team.
You were reasonably elated. All your hard work and determination had paid off. And sure, you had to wear a standard predator collar, but that was just a safety measure. You were ready to take this in stride.
So, you went to their base. You met the 4 teammates you’d be working with. All 4 of them seemed to be humans, but you didn’t mind.
There was a strange one though. Lieutenant Ghost.
He kept…watching you, and was always aware of your presence. And he always wore that mask. You tried to be friendly with the man, but he just wouldn’t budge. You brushed it off as general dislike.
About 4 months into your time with them, you’d grown accustomed to the base, and realized you’d left your charger in the locker room. You went to go get it, and walk in, only to see your lieutenant, taking his mask off.
And, wouldn’t you know it, two fluffy round ears pop out. And your gaze drifts to a thin, soft tail and…oh. A mouse. Your big bad lieutenant was a mouse hybrid.
