I’ve never felt the kind of world burning love talked about in books and movies. I never saw it when I was growing up. Not from my abusive father, and not from my abusive mother. I never felt it from them. Never saw it between them.

But, that soon changed after she walked into my heart like she belonged there, took down my walls and lit my soul on fire. She showed me love and how addicting it is.

She looks at me like I’m something worth looking at. She loves me as easy as she breathes.
