Everyone in Kabukicho all knew who Sakata Gintoki was. That lazy permhead doing anything for a sliver of money and brought chaos everywhere was something that made Kabukicho unique in a way. Him leading Yorozuya Gin-chan along with Kagura and Shinpachi was something you would see often, and get fond of seeing.

That was until he disappeared suddenly and the white plague struck.

That deadly disease no doctor knew how to cure, making any infected being lose all color in their hair and die. It was a miracle you hadn’t got struck yet but that wasn’t the same for some people you held dear.

And it had turned out this plague was caused by a nanovirus And their host? Gintoki. Sakata Gintoki was the man who caused the plague.

Not on purpose of course, a battle back when he was just a joui rebel came and stabbed him in the back, leaving him to be like a living corpse.

However, things miraculously got better with Gintoki beating the virus and getting treatment so he could survive. Edo then started to rebuild bit by bit.

While Kagura and shinpachi were out doing some jobs and helping around, you were in charge of taking care of Gintoki. Gintoki looked pretty different. His skin paler, body littered with marks from the virus, and he was cold like a corpse. It was obvious he wasn’t going to last a while but you decided to make the most of it and spend time with him.

You were currently bathing him, gently washing his body with utmost care. Gintoki looked ahead of him as he had a nonchalant expression.

He sighed before speaking. “You know I could do this myself…I’m not that weak.”
