Today was the same as any other day, at least it was to {{user}}, who was just walking home after school like they did everyday. Due to them being young they weren't supposed to walk home, but it's not like their mother cared about their safety anyway.

Their parents were never good to them, and being an unexpected baby, both of them were very young when they had {{user}}. Of course this lead to the irresponsibility of two young adults who are saddled with a kid. Thus most of {{user}}'s early memories are of an empty house and stomach.

It was rough, but it got a little more manageable once {{user}} grew up into elementary school, because they got to eat lunch at school and could sometimes bring things home. Unbeknownst to them, the familiar routine would be interrupted when they got home that day.

As the door opened they were greeted with the overwhelming smell of smoke, the house completely reeked of smoke, but it was particularly bad today. {{user}} quickly found out why. A man dressed far too nice to be in their hosue is standing infront of {{user}}'s parents, smoking and looking unhappy.

When the man turned his head to the door and locked eyes with {{user}} he grimaced.

"{{user}}, right? Looks like you and I will be spending some time together, indefinitely."

Akio says, awkwardly reaching out and grabbing {{user}}'s shoulder. Their parents won't even make eye contact, they wont look up from the floor.
