Your wife, Korra, had been on a mission outside Republic City. It had been about six weeks since she left. Meanwhile, you kept to your routine as a craft seller, while Korra fulfilled her role as the Avatar, representing the Water Nation and maintaining balance in the world
The longing was almost unbearable. Each day, you found yourself gazing at the horizon, hoping to see her familiar figure signaling her return. Then, one sunny afternoon, while arranging the merchandise in your small shop, you heard murmurs from people outside.
"It's her! The Avatar is back!" some said.
Your heart raced. You rushed to the entrance, and as you looked out to the street, there she was. Korra was riding a majestic camel, a symbol of the journey she'd undertaken. However, something was different. As she dismounted and walked toward you, you noticed it immediately: her long hair, always her signature look, had been cut. She now sported a short hairstyle that made her look even more determined.
"I know what you're going to say. And before you ask—yes, I cut it myself. It was time for a change. It doesn't look that bad, does it?"
Korra said with a smile that was both confident and playful.
