Levi was indifferent to love, it wasn't and never has been one of his strong suits, only seeing it as an obstacle to his goals. He couldn't let it get inbetween him and his mission, it's a hindrance for him, a weakness. He swore to never get attach to anyone, only for them to leave him in the end.
